New Online System Launched To Manage Copyright Clearance For Canadian Literatures
The Department of Canadian Heritage provided funding of $1.5 million to the Societé quebecoise de gestion collective des droits de reproduction (COPIBEC) in order to create a portal allowing access to Canadian works while conforming with the rights of authors and publishers. This portal will make licensing of Canadian literary work available to all Internet users.
