Motorola recently filed two lawsuits against Apple, claiming that technology used in the Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and certain Mac computers or related services infringe 18 of Motorola’s patents. The patents are said to relate to wireless communication technologies and key smartphone technologies, including wireless email, proximity sensing, location-based services and multi-device synchronization.
