Internet E-Commerce Complaints Make Top Ten List in Consumer Complaints Survey

On November 24, 2003, the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) and National Association of Consumer Agency Administrators (NACAA) released their 12th annual consumer complaint survey. The survey, which polled 43 NACAA members about their 2002 complaint records, found Internet and e-commerce complaints to be one of the top ten areas of consumer complaint in 2002, and noted that such complaints appear to be on the rise as a growing number of people are shopping online and conducting business through the Internet.
