Huawei Wins Injunction against Motorola
Huawei Technologies Ltd. won a preliminary injunction relating to the proposed sale of Motorola Inc.’s network equipment business to Nokia Siemens Networks. The order prohibits Motorola (a vendor of Huawei Equipment) from transferring any confidential information pertaining to Huawei to Nokia Siemens. This injunction was granted pending the resolution of the main dispute to determine whether the transaction will involve a disclosure of Huawei’s confidential information to a competitor.
