Google Responds to Jobs' Comments

Google’s chairman Eric Schmidt has responded to claims attributed to Steve Jobs, the late co-founder of Apple Inc. In a recently released biography by Walter Issacson, Jobs is quoted as arguing that Google appropriated features from Apples’ iPhone into its Android mobile operating system.  Schmidt declined making any extensive comments in response out of respect for Jobs, however, he did point to Google’s track record of innovation, along with the fact that Google’s work on the Android operating system pre-dated the development of the iPhone.
