Google Forces Groggle Name Change

An Australian web start-up company called Groggle that provides a location driven alcohol price comparison service has agreed to change its name, trade-mark and domain names after Internet search giant Google complained. After six months of negotiations, Groggle agreed to change its name to Drinkle. The terms of settlement provide for a period of transition during which visitors to the Groggle site will be re-directed to Drinkle.com, the company’s net site. After the transition period, the Groggle domains are to be transferred to Google.
