Canadian Government Introduces Anti Spam Action Plan

The Canadian government in an effort to combat what it has called a "significant social and economic issue and a drain on the business and personal productivity of Canadians", has put together a Special Task Force on Spam consisting of industry experts, academics and other interested parties in order to create an action plan for dealing with problems associated with spam. The Task Force's mandate is to oversee the implementation of a comprehensive action plan including legislative measures to reduce the volume of spam.
